Who are We?
Solid Edge Wood Products originally started in 2014 as a part time venture using Alaskan saw mills to mill large logs. Since then, we have grown into a full-time business specializing in the design and crafting of high quality custom furniture, cabinetry and more.
In 2018, we purchased our current location which had been the home of G. W. Cattle Construction Limited for over 60 years from our father/grandfather. We immediately installed our vacuum press kiln
and starting building our large inventory of kiln dried and properly heat treated Ontario hardwood lumber and slabs and added retail products including epoxy and Rubio Monocoat finish.
In 2022, we completed a major building expansion and renovation to house our modern and well equipped workshop and consolidate our operations into one location.
We remain family owned and operated and continue to work hard to earn the trust of our valued customers as we strive to provide high quality in both our product and service. We are proud of our family roots and look forward to building our small business one satisfied customer at a time.
